Huh, that's funny...

I'll post something else in a minute, but I just thought of something:

Why is the word abbreviation so long?

I'm on the loose!

I think I scared some of my co-workers today. I was getting a little bored because there were no customers in the store, and there was nothing to do, so I started tying knots in things. Not clothing or anything not mine, but I would find these little plastic slings that we use to put price tags on clothes, and I would tie knots in them. Not the easiest talent to exercise, mind. After I did this three or four times, I got to talking about psychology with one co-worker, and the fact that there is literally no such thing as a completely sane person. Completely sane, I said. We all try to remain saner, but none of us is ever completely sane. Huh. That'd be something to see, a completely sane person...

As for scaring her, I didn't really, just kinda startled her for a minute. I was rambling to myself in the suit section, and she overheard me. I stopped when she asked me what I was talking about, then I proceeded to tell her that I was always the first person to let you know that I'm nuttier than a fruit bat. Well, okay, I'm tied for the first person to let you know, because Steven sometimes beats me in mentioning it.

A friend of ours recently started dating again, and I couldn't be happier for him. We met his new girlfriend Sunday night when we had them both over for supper (they brought chicken!) and I think that he will be very happy with her, because she felt and seemed like a really sweet girl, not to mention intelligent and very fun to be around! He spends more time at her place than he does in his own house (which he shares with about six other guys), and I remember that stage of mine and Steven's relationship. We spent more time talking to each other and sending emails to each other than we did talking to our families! Of course, I was down in Red Deer at the time, and he was still in Edmonton...

Blegh. I'm rambling again.

Still, I think things will finally look UP for a while, instead of going fractal. (Note: for those of you who actually know what a fractal looks like, I know this isn't really a fractal image, but it was the only one I could link without my computer spazzing on me.)
